Sometimes, when you complain about the little things, the Universe takes it upon it self to remind you why you should just shut up and stride on.
I am not one to complain, and I find complaining and complainers irritating, but here I am complaining about complainers!
Anyhow, I recently wrote a post about An Inconvenient Medication where I complained about a new medication, Pulmicort, which required that I had to rinse my mouth after each dosage. Yes I complained. Me. And so the universe heard me and decided to do something about my little tirade.
It seems that one of the possible side effects of Pulmicort is hoarseness and phlegm, and of course that what I got. And irritating need to constantly clear my throat, which I am sure was more irritating to people around me than it was to me, and by the end of the day, I sounded like a frog with a frog in it’s throat.
So back to the doctor I went and he decided to try another inhaler, but this time added a device that would allow the medicine to go mostly into the lungs and not coat the throat and mouth as much. As you can see from the picture, the new extender is a pretty big thing to discreetly walk around with, and so my last complaint about having to rinse my mouth out as being inconvenient really is paled next to what I could write about the Inconvenience this device can bring. But I won’t. I’m just going to shut my mouth and just live with it. Don’t need another slap in the face from the universe for complaining!
